Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named Greg Monforton, a founding partner of Greg Monforton & Partners, as a 2014 “Best Lawyer” in Canada for his work in personal injury law.
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 39,000 leading lawyers cast almost 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor.
Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of Lawyers in practice.”
Monforton, who is a member of the bars of Ontario and Nunavut, practices exclusively in the area of personal injury law. He earned his law degree from the University of Windsor, is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in civil litigation and teaches automobile insurance law to students at the Faculty of Law of the University of Windsor. Monforton is past president of the prestigious Ontario Trial Lawyers Association. Monforton has been recognized as a “Best Lawyer” in Canada annually since 2006.
