Lakeshore OPP have laid charges against a driver involved in a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon. The head-on crash happened east of Wallace Lane on County Road 22.
The victim of the crash was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, where she was pronounced deceased.
The suspect received treatment at the scene and was arrested. The charges laid against the 35-year-old driver include operation causing death, dangerous operation causing death, and failure or refusal to comply with a demand.
Authorities closed County Road 22 from Old Tecumseh Road to Patillo Road while they investigated the scene.
