Two people were killed and another injured after a head-on collision in Leamington Sunday morning.
According to BlackburnNews.com, a crash between a northbound and southbound vehicle occurred at around 6:50 a.m. on Highway 77 between Mersea Road 5 and Mersea Road 6.
The occupants of one of the vehicles suffered fatal injuries. A 72-year-old woman died at the scene and a 76-year-old man died shortly after being hospitalized.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
