A female motorcyclist is dead after a serious collision on Thursday evening.
The Windsor Police Service for the Town of Amherstburg was called to the accident scene involving a black Yamaha motorcycle and a green Ford Escape in the 3100 block of County Road 10 at around 5:15 p.m. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Windsor Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and Accident Reconstruction Unit attended and processed the scene as a fatal motor vehicle crash investigation. A coroner was also present at the time.
The roadway in both directions has since reopened.
