A severe crash involving two vehicles occurred on a section of the Lauzon Parkway late Tuesday night. The 25-year-old driver of a sedan involved in the crash sustained life-threatening injuries. Although taken to hospital, she did not survive her injuries.
The other driver involved in the crash, a 38-year-old man, sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
What We Know About the Lauzon Parkway Crash
The incident occurred sometime prior to 10 p.m. Tuesday evening on Lauzon Parkway at the intersection of Hawthorne Drive. When first responders arrived at the scene right before 10 p.m., they discovered the woman’s white sedan and a white pickup truck, which the man was driving.
The front of the sedan was severely damaged, and the pickup truck was found flipped over and on its side. A section of the parkway remained closed to traffic for a few hours to allow police to investigate the scene.
Windsor Police Are Asking Witnesses to Come Forward
Anyone who witnessed the crash and has information or video footage that may be useful to determine the cause of the crash is being asked to come forward.
