Top Tort Cases of 2024
We are pleased to announce that our Senior Associate Jaclyn Habas will be presenting at the upcoming Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) conference on November 8, 2024.
Jaclyn, who was elected to the Board of Directors of the OTLA this past May, is presenting the “Top Tort Cases of 2024″ at 8:50 a.m. following the Welcome.
Stages of a Lawsuit: AB
Laura Nicola and Heather McIntyre are also attending the conference and will be presenting: “Stages of a Lawsuit: AB” under the Law Clerk Program, beginning at 1:35 p.m.
Their presentation will focus on the following areas:
- Assisting clients in setting up their accident benefits claim, and how to help move their AB claims along
- Tips and tricks on how to build a treatment team and get treatment plans approved
- Interplay of tort and AB: how a well-managed AB file can set you up for success in tort
Laura is an associate at our firm, focusing on personal injury. She earned her law degree from the University of Windsor, where she graduated with distinction.
Heather has been helping injured crash victims get the benefits they need since 2016, and she has been a No-Fault Accident Benefits Specialist at our firm since 2021.OTLA Fall Conference 2024
The OTLA Fall conference takes place on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building 700 Level. The conference is a live and in-person event only. There will not be any livestream recordings available.
