Police Laid Impaired Driving Charges After East Windsor Crash

blue light on top of carPolice arrested and charged a 40-year-old man with impaired driving after a Tuesday crash involving two vehicles.

The accident happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. in east Windsor at the intersection of Lauzon Line and Lauzon Road. First responders had to extricate the driver of a pickup truck that overturned, as this person was stuck in the vehicle.

Both the driver and his two passengers, along with the driver of the sedan involved in the collision, were hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

According to investigators, the pickup truck was going north. The sedan crashed into the truck at the intersection. The police discovered that the pickup truck driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

The driver was subsequently arrested and charged with impaired driving.
