One person was killed and two others injured after a collision in Amherstburg Monday morning.
According to CTV News Windsor, police responded to the accident scene on Howard Avenue between Texas Road and Country Road 10 at about 6:30 a.m.
Two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when one of the vehicles lost control and struck an oncoming vehicle.
Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information has been released at this time.
The intersection was closed for hours before reopening at about 1:30 p.m.
Windsor police believe the collision was caused by wet road conditions.
