Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit by a Vehicle in Windsor

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle late Tuesday night. The incident occurred at an intersection in south Windsor at Roseland Drive.

According to police who responded to the scene, the pedestrian was struck and severely injured by a vehicle that was headed in a northbound direction on Dougall Avenue.

The victim, who is 25-years-old, was taken to hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he remains.

According to a news article, the motorist involved in the incident remained on the scene. Windsor Police Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing their investigation into events leading up to the crash.
