There was a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night that sent two people to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The crash happened after 11 p.m. in the 2500 block of Princess Avenue, according to Windsor police.
Both victims were in the vehicle. A witness said it looked like there were four people in the vehicle. This person was sleeping in his home when he heard a loud bang. He went outside, saw the wrecked car and called 9-1-1 right away.
According to the witness, the stretch of road where the crash happened is like a “throughway of speeders.” He noted there have been crashes on this road before and this might be because there are no sidewalks.
The crash is being investigated by traffic reconstruction officers. Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area. If you saw the crash or have video of it, you can contact the police.
