Greg Monforton & Partners Presenting Webinar on Protecting Incapacitated Patients

protecting incapacitated patientsOn Thursday, April 15th, our medical outreach team at Greg Monforton & Partners will be presenting a 30-minute free lunch webinar titled, “Protecting Patients Who May Be Exhibiting Signs of Incapacity.”

The webinar will be online via Zoom and run from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration is open to case managers, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, social workers and other medical professionals.

Founding partner Greg Monforton, associate lawyer Jaclyn Habas and Carol Caverzan, a certified capacity assessor for the province of Ontario, will also be in attendance and speaking at the webinar.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the different types of incapacity a patient may be exhibiting, identify the potential signs of incapacity, how incapacity can be properly assessed, and what treatment providers can do to help make sure that incapacitated patients are being properly protected.
