The family of a hit-and-run accident victim is asking the public to help police find the driver who slammed into their loved one on Saturday.
Police say the victim is in the intensive care unit at a local hospital and has suffered multiple injuries including a broken left ankle, broken fingers and a dislocated knee and elbow. The victim is a mother to two children and grandmother to two grandchildren.
According to reports, she was walking across Wyandotte when the vehicle hit her and then fled the scene. The driver is reportedly a white man with a shaved head who appeared to be in his 20s and was wearing a grey shirt.
