Information released by the Chatham-Kent Police Dept. have provided details on a fatal auto accident that took place at approximately 1 a.m on Sunday morning on Queen’s Line just between Bloomfield and Dillon Roads.
According to the report, a 46 year old Windsor resident died from injuries sustained after her Ford Mustang collided with a Ford Freestar minivan that was being driven by a 20 year old male from Wallaceburg.
While both drivers were taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, the driver of the Mustang was then transferred to the London Health Science Centre where she later passed due to the extent of her injuries.
The driver of the minivan was later released from the Chatham-Kent facility after receiving treatment for his injuries.
