Greg Monforton and Partners is pleased to announce our former managing partner, Jennifer Bezaire, has been officially sworn in on the bench of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario.
The ceremony happened on Wednesday at the Windsor Courthouse at 250 Chatham Street E, and the room was filled with family, friends and legal professionals. Windsor Police Chief Jason Bellaire and Mayor Drew Dilkens were also there. Bezaire was appointed in August.
Nearly two decades ago, Jennifer joined our firm, eventually becoming the managing partner. Her recent roles included:
- Executive member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association
- Ontario Civil Rules Committee
- Product Technical Advisory Committee of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority
Mayor Drew Dilkens, said of Bezaire’s appointment, “It’s great for her Honour Justice Bezaire. It’s a big milestone to be appointed to the Superior Court.”
When Bezaire’s appointment was announced in August, Greg Monforton and Brad Robitaille lauded her as a superstar, underscoring her unique and impressive contributions to the legal field.
